Extended Juvenile Curfew Zones (July 2026)

Below is a list of Extended Juvenile Curfew Zones designated by the Metropolitan Police Department. As of July 2, 2026, the District’s youth curfew law was amended by permanent legislation, the Youth Curfew Amendment Act of 2026. (D.C. Official Code § 2-1541 et seq.)

Note that within an Extended Juvenile Curfew Zone, persons 17 and under are prohibited from gathering in a group of nine (9) or more in any public place or on the premises of any establishment unless engaged in certain exempted activities, which are listed here.
