On Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at approximately 1:03 am, Anthony Reginald Ford, Jr. was shot and killed in the Unit block of 58th Street, SE. The decedent, along with several subjects, was standing on the sidewalk area when they were approached by two male subjects who began shooting in the direction of the decedent, striking him multiple times about the body. Mr. Ford later succumbed to his injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
