The Second District encompasses much of the Northwest quadrant of the District of Columbia, including Chevy Chase, Cleveland Park, Foggy Bottom, Georgetown, Palisades, Spring Valley, and other residential neighborhoods. Major commercial streets that intersect 2D include Connecticut Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue. The Second District is also home to some of DC’s treasured landmarks, including the National Cathedral, the National Zoo, sections of Rock Creek Park, and numerous foreign embassies.
