On Sunday, May 9, 2021, at approximately 11:36 pm, Ms. Georgette Banks was stabbed and killed in the 2600 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information about this homicide.
This case was closed with an arrest on July 8, 2021.
