Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Armed Robbery (Knife) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in the 1300 Block of Morris Road, Southeast.
At approximately 1:13 pm, the victim and suspect agreed to meet at the listed location to conduct a transaction using the Offer Up online application. When the victim arrived, four suspects assaulted the victim. During the assault, the victim was stabbed several times. The suspects took the victim’s property then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. This case remains under investigation.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 18 year-old Kwalik Dorsey, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery (Knife).
