Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 2200 Block of 33rd Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in the 2200 block of 33rd Street, Northeast.

 

At approximately 1:42 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect was engaged in a disagreement with an employee and brandished a firearm. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.

 

The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo below:

 

 

Anyone with information in reference to this case should call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
