Vehicle of Interest Sought in an Unarmed Carjacking Offense: 4400 Block of Hawthorne Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Second District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle of interest in reference to an Unarmed Carjacking offense that occurred on Thursday, March 7, 2019, in the 4400 block of Hawthorne Street, Northwest.

 

At approximately 1:55 pm, four suspects and two victims were engaged in an altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, two suspects entered the victim’s vehicle in an attempt to take it. The victim resisted and all four suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

 

The suspects’ vehicle is described as a 2015 Toyota Corolla which is gray in color. The vehicle was last seen displaying a Virginia paper tag. The vehicle can be seen in the photos below.
