On Friday, April 14, 2017 at approximately 8:05 pm, Mr. Michael Derricote, Jr. was shot in the 3500 block of Stanton Road, SE. Mr. Derricote succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, April 30, 2017. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
