On Monday, March 20, 2017 at approximately 8:37 pm, Ms. Ayana McAllister was shot in the 4300 block of Benning Road, NE. On Tuesday, March 21, 2017, Ms. McAllister died as a result of her injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
