On Saturday, July 4, 2015, at approximately 11:00 pm, Mr. Dwayne Dillard was shot and killed in the 2600 block of Douglass Place, SE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
Three persons arrested:
- Friday, July 24, 2015, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 26 year-old Shakim Lyons of Southeast, DC.
- Saturday July 25, 2015, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 24 year-old Jonathan Taylor of Southeast, DC.
- Thursday, July 30, 2015, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 27 year-old Harry Herbert of Southeast, DC.
All three men were arrested pursuant to D.C. Superior Court arrest warrants, and charged with Second Degree Murder While Armed in connection with the homicide of Mr. Dillard.
