Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division have announced an arrest has been made in reference to multiple Burglary Two offenses that occurred in the Sixth District.
- On Saturday, October 5, 2019, at approximately 3:00 pm, the suspect forcibly entered a residence in the 1400 block of 18th Place, Southeast. The suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-183-449
- On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at approximately 7:50 am, the suspect forcibly entered a residence in the 1400 block of S Street, Southeast. The suspect then fled the scene. No property was obtained. CCN: 19-183-159
- On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at approximately 5:13 pm, the suspects forcibly entered a residence in the 1600 block of Ridge Place, Southeast. The suspects took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-183-421
- On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at approximately 8:00 pm, the suspect forcibly entered a residence in the 1600 block of Ridge Place, Southeast. The suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-184-063
- On Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at approximately 8:17 am, the suspect forcibly entered a residence in the 2300 block of Nicholson Street, Southeast. The suspect took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-184-330
- On Friday, October 18, 2019, at approximately 2:48 pm, the suspects forcibly entered a residence in the 1700 block of R Street, Southeast. The suspects took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-186-482
- On Saturday, October 19, 2019, at approximately 5:15 am, the suspects forcibly entered a residence in the 2200 block of Nicholson Street, Southeast. The suspects took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-187-072
On Saturday, October 19, 2019, 29 year-old Delonte Morris, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with 7 counts of Burglary Two.
These cases remain under investigation.
