On Saturday, July 16, 2005, at approximately 3:00 am, Esayas Gebeyhu was assaulted in the 1900 block of 12th Street, NW. Mr. Gebeyhu was transported to the hospital, where he died Tuesday, July 26 of his injuries. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
