On Monday, March 22, 2004, at approximately 6:30 pm members of the Seventh District responded to 2837 Robinson Place, SE, for a reported shooting. Upon arrival on the scene, they located the body of Michael Antonio Smith in the hallway of the building suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck area. On Friday, March 26, 2004, at approximately 6:40 am, the victim succumbed to the injuries that he sustained and was pronounced dead. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this incident.
