The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a robbery that occurred in Northeast.
On Monday, June 30, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m. the suspect approached the victim from behind in the Unit block of M Street, Northwest, while listening to his headphones. The suspect snatched the victims’ AirPods from his ears and then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
A 17-year-old juvenile male of Northwest, DC, were arrested and charged with Robbery (Snatch).
