Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in the 600 block of 4th Street, Southwest.
At approximately 5:30 pm, the victim was at the listed location when the suspect threw a pole at his vehicle, which started a verbal altercation. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a handgun and pointed it at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2020, a 15-year-old juvenile male, of Southwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
