Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, in the 2800 block of Bladensburg Road, Northeast.
At approximately 10:01 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect refused to pay for merchandise and attempted to leave the store. A store employee confronted the suspect. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the store employee. The suspect then fled the scene.
