Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Knife) offense that occurred on Saturday, June 8, 2019, in the 3700 block of Hayes Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:04 am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound. DC Fire and Emergency Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Saturday, June 8, 2019, a 15 year-old juvenile female, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill (Knife).
