Arrests Made in Multiple Robbery Offenses

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division announced several arrests in recent robbery cases in Washington, DC.

 

Third District:

 

  • On Friday, February 22, 2019, 21 year-old Courtland Monroe, of Silver Spring, MD, was arrested for an Armed Robbery (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, February 22, 2019, in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Northwest. CCN: 19-030-927
    • At approximately 2:23 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location and a brandished a knife. The suspect threatened the victim and stole the victim’s property. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

 

 

Sixth District:

 

  • On Thursday, February 21, 2019, a 13 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, a 15 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, and a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, were arrested for an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, February 21, 2019, in the 100 block of 34th Street, Southeast. CCN: 19-030-666
    • At approximately 6:43 pm, three suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspects fled the scene.
