Arrest Made in Burglary Two Offenses in the First and Second Districts

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First and Second Districts have announced an arrest has been made in Burglary Two offenses that occurred in the First and Second Districts.

 

First District:

 

  • On Sunday, April 26, 2020, at approximately 1:30 pm, the suspect forcibly entered an unoccupied residence in the 400 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property and then fled the scene. Burglary Two CCN: 20-063-837

 

Second District:

 

  • On Sunday, March 15, 2020, at approximately 7:00 am, the suspect entered a vehicle in the 2000 block of Q Street, Northwest. The suspect took a credit card then fled the scene. The credit card was later fraudulently used at an establishment. Theft Two and Credit Card Fraud CCN: 20-045-983

 

  • On Monday, March 16, 2020, at approximately 5:41 pm, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence in the 2700 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took a credit card and property then fled the scene. The credit card was later fraudulently used at an establishment. Burglary Two and Credit Card Fraud CCN: 20-046-725

 

  • On Friday, April 3, 2020, at approximately 2:42 pm, the suspect took property from a building in the 1600 block of Q Street, Northwest, then fled the scene. Theft Second Degree CCN: 20-054-550

 

  • On Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at approximately 1:36 pm, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence in the 2200 block of California Street, Northwest. Once inside, the suspect took property and then fled the scene. Burglary Two CCN: 20-068-370

 

  • On Thursday, May 14, 2020, at approximately 3:32 pm, the suspect entered an apartment building’s storage area in the 2100 block of Wyoming Avenue, Northwest. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. Unlawful Entry CCN: 20-071-998

 

On Thursday, May 14, 2020, 60 year-old Dwane Fairmont Earl, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
