On Saturday, October 19, 2024, at approximately 1:15 am, Mr. Michael Buie was stabbed and killed in the 300 block of Delafield Place, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at approximately 1:22 pm, Mr. Delonte Smith was shot and killed in the 700 block of I Street, NE. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at approximately 10:50 am, Mr. Claybourne Couts was stabbed in the 800 block of Chesapeake Street, SE. On Friday, October 11, Mr. Couts was found deceased as a result of his injuries.

On Monday, September 16, 2024, at approximately 4:32 am, Mr. Ifeanyi Maximus was shot and killed in the 1700 block of Rhode Island Avenue, NW. The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
