MPD Seeking Persons of Interest in First Street Shooting

The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying two persons of interest in a shooting that occurred in Northeast.
On Monday, October 5, 2026, at approximately 5:11 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of First Street Northeast for the report of a shooting. Responding officers located an adult male victim suffering a graze wound from gunfire. The victim was treated by EMS on scene. Preliminary details suggest the victim and multiple individuals were involved in a dispute before shots were fired. The persons of interest fled the scene before officers arrived.

The persons of interest were captured by video cameras and can be seen in the pictures below. 

 

                                                 

  

Anyone who can identify these persons of interest and/or has knowledge of these incidents should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
