Suspect Sought in Robbery Offenses in the Fifth District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in locating a suspect in reference to multiple Armed Robbery (Knife) offenses that occurred at the following locations:

 

  • Armed Robbery (Knife): On Friday, March 22, 2019, at approximately 8:20 pm, in the 200 block of Channing Street, Northeast, the suspect brandished a knife and cut the victim at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property then fled the scene. The victim was treated on scene for non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 19-048-535
  • Assault With Intent to Rob (Knife): On Saturday, May 25, 2019, at approximately 11:35 pm, in the 1800 block of 2nd Street, Northeast, the suspect approached the victim and demanded the victim’s property at the listed location. When the victim did not comply, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 19-090-602
  • Armed Robbery (Knife): On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at approximately 9:42 pm, in the 1900 block of Summit Place, Northeast, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim at the listed location. The suspect took the victim’s property then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 19-092-505

 

The suspect has been described as a Black male, 20’s-30’s years of age, 5’10 – 5’11”, slim build, with a dark complexion, and short hair with twists. The suspect was last seen wearing all dark clothing. These cases are being investigated as potentially being related

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an armed robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
