Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to an Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, December 20, 2019, in the 2100 block of 4th Street, Northeast.
At approximately 4:17 pm, the suspect exited a vehicle and approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun, struck the victim and demanded US currency. The suspect then fled the scene without any property.
