The Metropolitan Police announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a shooting in Southeast.
On Saturday, February 15, 2025, at approximately 9:01 p.m., officers of the First District responded to the 100 block of L Street, Southeast, for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers discovered evidence of a discharged firearm. Several victims were shot at by the suspect before the suspect fled the scene. None of victims were injured during the shooting.
As a result of the detective’s investigation, a 14-year-old juvenile male of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault With A Dangerous Weapon.
