Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced two arrests have been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, in the 1200 block of Quincy Street, Northwest.
At approximately 9:33 am, the victim was walking at the listed location. The victim was approached by a vehicle and a suspect rolled down his window and brandished a handgun. The suspect proceeded to fire the weapon at the victim. There were no injuries reported.
On Sunday, March 24, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a 17-year-old Juvenile Male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder while Armed.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court custody order, a second 17-year-old Juvenile Male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder while Armed.
