Arrest Made in Robbery Offenses in the Fourth District

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fourth District announce an arrest has been made in Robbery offenses that occurred in the Fourth District.

• Assault with Intent to Rob: On Saturday, September 10, 2022, at approximately 12:20 am, the suspect approached the victim in the 5000 block of North Capitol Street, Northeast. The suspect brandished a metal object and demanded money from the victim. When the suspect did not obtain any money, he struck the victim with the metal object then fled the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. CCN: 22-130-924
• Armed Robbery (Knife): On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at approximately 10:10 am, the suspect approached the victim in the hallway of a building in the 4900 block of Fort Totten Drive, Northeast. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded property from the victim. The victim complied. The suspect took the property then fled the scene. CCN: 22-132-588
• Armed Robbery (Knife): On Friday, September 16, 2022, at approximately 6:20 am, the suspect approached the victim in the 5000 block of New Hampshire Avenue, Northwest. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded property from the victim. The victim complied. The suspect took the property then fled the scene CCN: 22-133-082
• Armed Robbery (Knife)/ Third Degree Sexual Abuse: On Saturday, September 17, 2022, at approximately 6:30 am, the suspect approached the victim in the 4800 block of North Capitol Street, Northeast. The suspect brandished a knife and took property from the victim. During the offense, the suspect engaged in sexual contact with the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. CCN: 22-134-703
• Armed Robbery (Knife): On Saturday, September 17, 2022, at approximately 6:35 am, the suspect approached the victim in the 5100 block of Fort Totten Drive, Northeast. The suspect brandished a knife and demanded property from the victim. The victim complied. The suspect took the property then fled the scene CCN: 22-134-714

On Saturday, September 17, 2022, a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
