Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, December 29, 2018, in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Terrace, Southeast.

At approximately 10:33 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and fired at the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. There were no injuries reported.

On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 25-year-old Dontay Frazier, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
