On June 12, 1976, at about 6:30 pm, while in the area of 1800 block of Vernon Street, NW, Georgetown University professor Dr. Gawaina J. Luster was found to be the victim of a homicide-strangulation (Ref. HO-76-1006; CCN: #76-270-934). The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding this homicide.
