The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in a robbery in Northwest.
On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at approximately 5:36 p.m., the victim was approached by the suspect in the 1900 block of 7th Street, Northwest. The suspect proceeded to snatch a pair of glasses from the victim’s face before fleeing the scene. Responding officers canvassed the immediate area, located and arrested the suspect.
18-year-old Vamorin Thompson of Northwest, D.C., was charged with Robbery.
