The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred in Northwest.
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, at approximately 12:28 a.m., Third District officers were on routine patrol when they were flagged down by the victim of an armed robbery near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and U Street, Northwest. Multiple suspects approached the victim at a bus stop, brandishing guns, and began taking property from the victim’s pockets. The suspects fled in a vehicle.
During the on-scene investigation, officers observed the suspects’ vehicle in the area and conducted a traffic stop. An arrest was made, and a handgun was recovered.
As a result of the investigation by on-scene officers and detectives, 23-year-old Nathaniel Mysion of Severn, MD, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery and Carrying a Pistol Without a License.
