Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife): 2400 Block of Virginia Avenue, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in the 2400 block of Virginia Avenue, Northwest.

At approximately 5:25 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2020, 40 year-old Tyrone Marshall, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
