Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, January 13, 2020, in the 300 block of Taylor Street, Northeast.
At approximately 10:19 pm, members of the Fourth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to local hospitals for treatment of life threatening injuries.
On Sunday, February 16, 2020, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 31 year-old Juan Carlos Galla, Jr., was arrested and charged with Assault With Intent to Kill.
