Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District have announced a second arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in the 3500 block of Jay Street, Northeast.
At approximately 11:03 pm, the suspects brandished handguns and forcibly entered an occupied residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspects attempted to take property then fled the scene.
On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, a 22-year-old adult male, of Hyattsville, MD, was arrested and charged with Burglary One while Armed (Gun).
On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 19-year-old Robert Smith, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Burglary One while Armed (Gun).
