Arrest Made in a Burglary One and a First Degree Sexual Abuse Offense: 3600 Block of 13th Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary One and a First Degree Sexual Abuse offense that occurred on Sunday, November 3, 2019, in the 3600 block of 13th Street, Northwest.

At approximately 6:20 am, the suspect gained entry to a residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect approached an adult female victim. The suspect sexually assaulted the victim, then fled the scene on foot.

On Monday, November 4, 2019, members of the Fourth District located 26 year-old Theodore Tinsley, of No Fixed Address. As a result of the detectives’ investigation, he was arrested and charged with Burglary One and First Degree Sexual Abuse.
