Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon Offense: 3400 Block of Water Street, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon offense that occurred on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in the 3400 block of Water Street, Northwest.

At approximately 1:40 pm, the suspect approached two victims at the listed location. The suspect then brandished an extension pole and struck one of the victims. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, 44 year-old Jogaak Malual, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
