Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, September 29, 2019, in the 1300 block of U Street, Northwest.
At approximately 10:15 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished an object and assaulted the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
On Sunday, September 29, 2019, 56 year-old Deborah Denise Pipkin, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.
