Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) Offense: 100 Block of 36th Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, May 10, 2019, in the 100 block of 36^th Street, Northeast.

At approximately 9:04 pm, the suspect brandished a knife and assaulted the victim causing a laceration. The suspect then fled the scene.

On Thursday, May 16, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 54 year-old Clifton Henson, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
