Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Friday, May 17, 2019, in the 900 block of H Street, Northwest.
At approximately 10:16 pm, the suspect and victim were involved in an altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a firearm and pointed it at the victim. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A firearm was recovered. No injuries were reported.
On Friday, May 17, 2019, 47 year-old Jerome Lowell Taylor, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
