On Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at approximately 11:45 am, members of the First District received a call for the report of a shooting in the 1300 block of H Street, NE. When the officers arrived on the scene, they located George Lynn Rawlings suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a local hospital, where he later died.
