The Metropolitan Police Department announces the arrest of a suspect involved in two burglary offenses in Northwest.
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the suspect unlawfully entered an occupied residence in the 3600 block of Chesapeake Street, Northwest. After entry, the suspect stole the victim’s property before fleeing the scene. CCN 25093183
On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at approximately 7:16 p.m., the suspect unlawfully entered an occupied residence in the 3000 block of Van Ness Street, Northwest. After entry, the suspect stole the victim’s property before fleeing the scene. CCN 25111575
On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 62-year-old Timothy Wiggins, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with two counts of Burglary One.
