Pursuant to Section 121 of the Comprehensive Policing and Justice Reform Amendment Act of 2022 (D.C. Law 24-345; D.C. Official Code § 5-331.16), beginning October 1, 2023, following the deployment of members in riot gear, MPD shall make a written report to the Chief of Police that describes the deployment of the riot gear and publish the report on its website. The following are provided in compliance with the Act.
