Suspect and Vehicle Sought in a Leaving After Colliding Offense: I-395 Northbound at the Maine Avenue Ramp, Northwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in a Leaving After Colliding offense that occurred on Thursday, March 2, 2023, on I-395 Northbound at the Maine Avenue Ramp, Northwest.

 

At approximately 4:10 pm, the operator of a red Pontiac Grand Prix displaying Virginia temporary tag Y69483 struck an adult male pedestrian and then fled the scene without making his identity known.  The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Anyone who can identify this individual or vehicle or has any information about these incidents should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
