Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Fifth District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, April 6, 2020, in the 2500 block of 10th Street, Northeast.
At approximately 9:07 am, the suspect was involved in a dispute with the victim at the listed location. During the dispute, the suspect brandished a knife. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. A knife was recovered. Investigation at the scene revealed that this offense was the result of a dispute between known parties.
On Monday, April 6, 2020, 44 year-old Earnest Brown, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
