The Latino Liaison Unit (LLU) is a team of dedicated officers that focuses on the public safety needs of the Latino community. They conduct outreach campaigns to the Latino community in an attempt to solidify police relations. There primary focus is to gain the trust of the community and seek out information that leads to the closure of violent crime in the community. They conduct patrol functions and respond to all citizen complaints.
