Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, August 27, 2018, in the 1500 Block of Butler Street, Southeast.
At approximately 8:51 pm, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, members located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 26 year-old Maurice Antonio Ford, of Northeast, DC, was arrested by members of the Fugitive Unit and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill while Armed (Gun).
