Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to multiple Burglary offenses at the following locations:
- Burglary Two: On Tuesday, December 4, 2018, between 9:30 am and 6:45 pm, in the 1800 block of Columbia Road, Northwest, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 18-206-054
- Burglary Two: Between Monday, December 10, 2018, at approximately 7:00 am, and Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at approximately 1:00 am, in the 2200 block of 19th Street, Northwest, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 18-210-222
On Friday, March 1, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 27-year-old Travis Tito Brandon, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with two counts of Burglary Two.
After further investigation by Detectives, he was additionally charged with the following offenses:
- Unlawful Entry: On Monday, December 10, 2018, at approximately 1:40 pm, in the 2200 block of 19th Street, Northwest, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence then fled the scene. CCN: 18-210-179
- Burglary Two: Between Monday, December 17, 2018 at approximately 8:00 am and Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at approximately 5:30 pm, in the 1800 block of Columbia Road, Northwest, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 18-215-343
- Burglary Two: On Sunday, January 6, 2019, at approximately 9:30 am, in the 1700 block of Lanier Place, Northwest, the suspect entered an unoccupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-003-499
- Burglary One: On Sunday, January 6, 2019, at approximately 12:00 pm, in the 1700 block of Lanier Place, Northwest, the suspect entered an occupied residence and took property then fled the scene. CCN: 19-003-497
