Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Friday, January 18, 2019, in the 1300 Block of Okie Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:10 am, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. During this encounter, a dispute ensued. One of the suspects brandished a knife and stabbed the victim, while the other suspect assaulted the victim. The suspects then fled the scene. The victim sought treatment at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
On Monday, February 4, 2019, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 48-year-old Keith Lamont Dunn, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
