EEO Office

 

Any demeaning, derogatory, or abusive language, actions, and/or gestures relating to a person’s race, color, national origin, sex/ gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, political affiliation, personal appearance, family responsibilities, gender identity or expression, genetic information, marital status, matriculation, credit information, Status as a Victim or Family Member of a Victim of Domestic Violence, a Sexual Offense, or Stalking (DVOS), *NEW* Homeless Status or retaliation for participating in the EEO process is investigated by this Office.

The EEO Office conducts investigations of EEO complaints and provides counseling and resolutions. The EEO Office assists sworn and civilian MPD employees regardless of rank, title, or position and other D.C. Government agency employees.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) program transitioned to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Office from the Human Resource Management Division (HRMD), effective June 23, 2021. Reasonable Accommodation request forms are to be completed and returned to [email protected]  along with any supporting medical documentation.
