The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast.
On Sunday, July 28, 2024, at approximately 2:43 p.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of 28th Street, Southeast for the report of sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male unconscious and not breathing, suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim died at the scene.
The decedent has been identified as 44-year-old Bobby Addison, of Southeast, D.C.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
