(Washington, D.C.) – The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Southeast.
On Saturday, June 29, 2024, at approximately 4:10 p.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Shipley Terrace, Southeast, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a shooting the victim. He died at the scene.
The decedent has been identified as 29-year-old Dionzae Foote, of Oxon Hill, MD.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
